Today's designs, Twitter and a few other things........

I added a few new items  on Zazzle today. I'm working on a few more right now, but took a break and decided to update my blog. I want to take a sec to shout out to my customers. I just opened the store but somehow word got around pretty fast.. Thank you! Don't forget to stop by often as I am still building my store and updating everyday.

"Mardi-Gras" Print

I have this thing for circles, not sure why.

"Mardi-Gras" Magnet

"Imagine/Blublu" Necklace

I ordered this myself. And the print that inspired it (going to hang it in my livingroom) lol.  What can I say, I love to shop! (can't wait to get them)

p.s I haven't figured out how to add a link to my pictures yet, but if you want to check these out in my store DoodleDooDesigns by Dee, you can click the link below or the Zazzle panel up at the top right of this blog page.   www.zazzle.com/pymeohmy*

A quickie on Twitter:
Are people suppose to talk to each other on Twitter? I noticed people (celebrities too) will ask a question but they don't seem to want an answer because they don't respond back. I'm getting the feeling that Twitter is just a place to hear yourself talk. Hey, what do I know, I'm new on the thing. lol.
Still I did get a good many people to take a look at my Zazzle store so I guess it's a good thing.

I just want to leave you with a little something else before I have to leave and get back to the new things I'm creating for my store. Please share something with someone today. Passing on just a smile to a stranger can do wonders for you and possibly them too.
Till the next time..........

Where are all my people?

I live and breathe to create things. Color is life!
I imagine if you're here reading this, then you're the same way. When I close my eyes at night colors and images swirl around in my brain and I can't wait to get out of bed the next day and re-create them,(that is if I remember what they were). I get this swirling in the brain thing during the day too, which can be a little distracting while trying to do my checkbook (which is always off).
Inspiration comes from everywhere, or it just pops in the old brain out of nowhere, and I never know when or where it's going to hit me. Putting everything off so that I can paint, or craft, or take photographs is a problem for me, so my house (right now) needs some tending to. But of course where am I right now? I can't help it! Am I alone on this? Maybe somebody can give me some tips on how to fix this. ;)
Living and breathing to create things has it's drawbacks.

Is there anybody out there?
So here I am, all alone on my blog. I'm wondering when all my visitors are going to show up and strike up a conversation with me about their own art, love of art or whatever they want to talk about, or maybe even link there blogs or stores to mine. I've had about 76 visits so far and 75 of them were from me. How sad is that!

I do love visiting and watching the colorful little fish swim around over there on the left though. It's kind of peaceful and calming.

Happy, happy news!

I'm excited to announce that I opened a Zazzle store http://www.zazzle.com/pymeohmy  which is still a work in progress. I'm adding Original prints/posters and other items daily to try and fill my store so if you do drop by, make sure you come back often to see what's new. My lens on Squidoo is my first attempt to try and get the word out about both the store and this blog. http://www.squidoo.com/believe2255s-zazzle-gallery-showcase . Anything you see here on my gallery/blog is available. If you don't see it in my Zazzle store just ask, I'm a pretty nice person. ;p
My portfolio is huge(my blog/gallery is only a small slice of it) and I haven't yet got everything up in the Zazzle store.

This is all so new to me, as a matter-of-fact as I'm writing this I'm not sure where it's going to appear on my page. It's a little embarrassing to admit, though I did figure out how to get my Zazzle panel on here which makes me very proud. Not to mention I also got the fish thing going (LOVE those fish).

It's kind of fun sitting here writing this. Yeah, I kinda like this "blog" thing, even if I'm only sort of "talking to myself" for the time being.

I'm not sure how to get the word out that this blog exists. I know, I know, you link it to this and to that and backlink, forward link sideways link, broadcast, etc etc etc. Problem is I don't know how to do all this linking. So I am in the process of learning and I guess while I'm learning I'll be sitting here alone and waiting.

ps. Ok, so I'm going to be positive here. If you happen to stumble upon this blog, please leave me a comment, tell me something about yourself, share your work with me or just let me know you stopped by. Ohh, I would be so thrilled! :))

   ***********************************************************
Later that evening............

I've tweeted, tooted, hooted and hollered. Nobody is listening.
Yes, you guessed it correctly, I finally decided to try Twitter, and I guess I don't understand the concept. I have 247 people that I'm following, yet there have only been 2 "real people" that tweeted. The rest were advertisements.

I tweeted a response to both "people" and they both ignored me. Hmmm.
I'm not sure I understand how this is supposed to get traffic to your sites. Do people really pay attention to all the advertisements?

Do you wait for a person to tweet something and then pounce on them?
"Hello...uh...hi...um..would you please visit my blog?"
Naw, didn't think so. lol.

So can anyone tell me if they use Twitter to promote their sites, and if so is it working for you?

Oh yeah, and Mom, I love ya, but being that you've been my only visitor and didn't even "follow me "is just too much to bear.
I know, I know, you don't know how right?

The fruit doesn't fall to far from the tree.

ps. I just noticed that there is no comment box on my blog; it seems to disappear after I publish my post.
It shows up in the preview, but when I just visit the blog without logging in it's not there. Maybe someone was here.(like my Mom).and they tried to leave me a messsage and there was no box.
I'm going to get on that right away. Where is my left-brain when I need it.
